Operator Terms of Service

1. Agreement Overview
This Operator Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between POLAND-BUSINESS L.T.D ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located at Grochowska St. 207, 04-077 Warsaw, Poland, and you ("Operator," "you," or "your"), an individual who wishes to provide services through the Volt platform. By applying to become an Operator, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify as a Volt Operator, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid government-issued identification document
- Demonstrate professional expertise in your designated specialty area
- Maintain a stable internet connection with minimum 50 Mbps upload speed
- Have the legal right to work in your jurisdiction
- Successfully complete our verification and onboarding process
3. Independent Contractor Status
You acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, agent, or joint venturer of the Company. As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for:
- Payment of all applicable taxes, including income tax and self-employment tax
- Obtaining and maintaining any required business licenses or permits
- Your own insurance coverage, including health and liability insurance
- Determining your own working hours and schedule
The Company will not withhold taxes or provide employee benefits. You will receive an appropriate tax form (e.g., 1099 in the US or equivalent in your jurisdiction) for payments exceeding applicable thresholds.
4. Equipment and Hardware
The Company provides access to remote M5 Ultra workstations at no cost to you. You are responsible for providing and maintaining:
- A personal computer capable of running remote desktop software
- A reliable internet connection meeting our minimum specifications
- Peripherals necessary for your work (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.)
- Any specialized software licenses required for your personal device
You are solely responsible for all costs associated with your personal equipment, internet service, and workspace.
5. Service Level Expectations
As a Volt Operator, you are expected to maintain high standards of service quality:
- Respond to accepted tasks within agreed-upon timeframes
- Deliver work that meets professional quality standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Report any issues or concerns promptly to the Company
Failure to meet these expectations may result in reduced task assignments, tier demotion, or termination of this Agreement.
6. Payment Terms
Compensation for services rendered is based on your assigned tier level:
- Apprentice (120V): €25-35 per hour
- Journeyman (240V): €40-55 per hour
- Master (480V): €60-75 per hour
Payments are processed weekly on Fridays for work completed in the prior week. Payment is made via direct bank transfer or other approved methods. Minimum payout threshold is €50; amounts below this threshold will roll over to the following week.
Customer payments to the Company are processed using Visa and Mastercard only. The Company reserves the right to adjust payment rates with 30 days advance notice.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
You agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- All client data, files, and information accessed during task execution
- Company trade secrets, business processes, and proprietary information
- Platform technical details, pricing structures, and operational procedures
GDPR Compliance: When handling personal data of EU residents, you agree to process data only as instructed by the Company and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, report any data breaches immediately, and assist with data subject requests as needed.
You may not copy, store, transmit, or retain any client data beyond what is necessary to complete the assigned task. All data must be handled securely and deleted upon task completion.
8. Intellectual Property
All work product created by you in the course of performing services through the Volt platform shall be the property of the respective client or the Company, as applicable. You hereby assign all rights, title, and interest in such work product.
You retain ownership of any pre-existing intellectual property that you bring to tasks, provided you disclose such pre-existing IP before incorporating it into deliverables. You grant the Company and clients a perpetual, royalty-free license to use any such pre-existing IP as incorporated into work product.
You represent and warrant that your work will not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, and you will indemnify the Company against any claims arising from such infringement.
9. Termination
Termination by Operator: You may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing at least 7 days written notice to the Company at support@volt.equipment. You must complete any tasks already accepted before the termination effective date.
Termination by Company: The Company may terminate this Agreement with at least 14 days written notice. In cases of material breach, fraud, or violation of law, the Company may terminate immediately without notice.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will receive payment for all completed work through the termination date. Your access to the platform and remote workstations will be revoked. Confidentiality obligations survive termination indefinitely.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to this Agreement.
The Company's total aggregate liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid to you by the Company in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, negligence, or misconduct.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
If negotiation fails to resolve the dispute within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by an accredited arbitration institution in the European Union. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees and costs. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable member state law where the Company is registered.
12. Miscellaneous
Amendments: The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your role as an Operator and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
